• Access controls: Strict access controls limit who can access your information

Data Storage

• Location: Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with enterprise-grade security
• Retention: Conversations are kept for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after account deletion
• Backups: Encrypted backups are maintained for disaster recovery purposes

Third-Party Services

AI Processing

• Claude API: Your conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate Scout responses
• Data handling: Anthropic processes conversations according to their privacy policy and does not store your data permanently

Authentication

• Clerk: We use Clerk for secure user authentication and account management
• Information shared: Only basic account information necessary for authentication

Analytics

• Usage analytics: We use privacy-focused analytics to understand platform usage
• No personal data: Analytics do not include conversation content or personally identifiable information

• View conversations: Access all your Scout conversations through your account
• Download data: Request a copy of all your personal data

If you're accessing Career Convoy from outside Australia, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in Australia, where our servers are located. By using our platform, you consent to this transfer.
